Red Hot Spots???
It's only day 5 on the zz cream and now I have developed red patches that are very hot to the touch. I can feel the heat coming out of those areas on my face. Is this normal???
Re: Red Hot Spots???
I can only speak from my experience, but it doesn't sound like a particularly good reaction. I notice a kind of tingling/burning when I first apply the ZZ cream (for about 10 mins) but then this goes away.
Although, one thing I did notice (and not related to the application of the ZZ cream) but when I used to get "breakouts" of what I believe now was the mites dying off, I used to get very hot and burning red cheeks (and pimples etc.)...it could be that since you've been applying the cream the mites are dying off and causing this reaction rather than an allergy to the cream itself. Apparently when the mites die they leave bacteria and things in your skin that can cause it to flare up which is why people usually get worse before they get better.
It might be wise to do a "patch test" in one small area for a few days to try and determine what's happening in case you are having an actual allergic reaction. You could be allergic to Sulphur or one of the other ingredients. You could go back to full application later on once you've had a chance to look into what might be happening?

If it is just for temporary than ok. but if it burns more and remain for long time consult specialist.tamaral wrote:It's only day 5 on the zz cream and now I have developed red patches that are very hot to the touch. I can feel the heat coming out of those areas on my face. Is this normal???
